1. REVIEW ROLES
Take a look over our available volunteer positions and our Code of Conduct. Think about where your skills could be best applied! Volunteers must be 19+ and legally permitted to work in Canada.

The first point of contact for everyone who enters the Festival, these individuals require strong communication leadership qualities. Volunteers on this crew need to have attended two or more Wicked Woods Festivals in order to be considered.

You will work closely with the production and visual art teams to bring the festival’s artistic vision to life. Ensuring that spaces are vibrant and welcoming, creating the visual environment of Wicked Woods!

You will work with the Artist Relations team to coordinate artist hospitality and performances. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Limited availability, plan a second choice!

If you are a certified electrical professional that loves to work with a team of resourceful people, you should join this critical area of our team. Help us bring the power to the Woods!

We love the land that we call home, help us ensure that we keep it pristine! This role requires a passion for the environment, sustainability, teamwork, and a proactive approach to keeping the festival grounds clean.

Welcoming attendees while managing access control and entry to Wicked Woods. Having strong customer service skills is important on this Team. This role involves quickly processing and relaying information to keep everyone's entry process smooth.

Members of this team create the environment for our Glamping areas. You will set up campsites and tents, while providing customer support to guests during the festival. We expect a great attention to detail for all aspects of this space and experience.

Support our behind-the-scenes operations and assist the HR team with managing festival staff and volunteers. Candidates for this role should have good communication skills and the ability to stay organized and friendly in a dynamic and busy environment.

You will be helping ensure that all festival water services and hydration amenities stay accessible and available for the duration of the festival. This includes assisting with showers and other related tasks to ensure the integrity of our water and dust-control systems.

An army marches on it’s stomach! You will assist in preparing meals for crew and volunteers while making sure that the highest standards of Food Safety and quality are maintained.

This team is focused on managing the flow of vehicles as attendees arrive and depart from the festival. You will keep our parking areas organized and ensure all traffic is directed clearly and efficiently.

Jack of all trades - master of…some! Help build, maintain, and dismantle our festival site. Members of this team may be assigned to focusing on Infrastructure, Trails, or Roving duties as required.

These teams are in charge of building and maintaining our 4 immersive stages! If you have a strong knowledge and experience in live-event production, this could be a fit for you. Limited availability, plan a second choice!

Public Safety Volunteer opportunities
Complete a Public Safety Volunteer Application to get started. Wicked Woods is committed to creating a safe and welcoming experience for all attendees. Our Public Safety Team plays a crucial role in upholding that mission, providing professional medical, harm reduction, fire response, and security services throughout the festival.
We’re looking for qualified and passionate individuals to join our 2025 Public Safety Team. Volunteer roles include First Aid & Medical, Harm Reduction (Sanctuary & Outreach), Fire Response, and Emergency Dispatch - each requiring specific certifications to comply with Canadian regulations.
Those applying for Medical roles must meet provincial requirements to practice in British Columbia.

Provide first aid and medical support to our attendees. We are looking for individuals with Medical Certifications or special training, credentials will be reviewed and verified by Odyssey Medical.

You will assist our Harm Reduction Crew in promoting safety and wellness through our Sanctuary and Outreach programs. We are proud to work in cooperation with ANKORS Harm Reduction to provide on-site drug testing and educational resources for our attendees.

This crew ensures that our Site remains safe and proper Fire Safety is being enforced throughout. Individuals applying for this team will require related certifications.

Helping improve the efficiency of our communication site wide by being able to multitask and communicate clearly on radios. Previous dispatch experience is an asset, experience with Wicked Woods for familiarity of processes is very helpful.

These individuals will focus on ensuring the Safety of all of the people at the Festival. They will require experience in this area and will work directly with our Safety Lead.

Specify who you would like to be scheduled in your application and our team will do our best to accommodate you. Please note that the closer we get to festival dates, the harder this becomes, so the earlier you apply the better chance you have of securing priority scheduling.

As a Volunteer you are allowed to arrive on site the day prior to your first shift. We encourage our team to get settled and oriented on site in enough time to be rested and prepared with what they need to fulfill their shifts.

No they can not. We have a designated number of volunteers and that area is created to accommodate them. If you would like to camp outside of this zone with your friends you will need to buy a pass for your desired camping zone or join them outside of Crew Camping.
